“The greater the chaos, the closer the solution”.

-Chinese Proverb

»I love the God Ganesh. I love what Ganesh represents: the placer and remover of obstacles. The only way to get Ganesh to remove an obstacle is to lay prostrate to the very obstacle that you feel buried by.  Great! So what does that mean? Well, if you’re having a relationship problem ask what it is that you are afraid of happening and let the chaos in your mind and body go wild. Here is the challenging part: standing still and firm when your insides are telling you this problem is unsafe to be around. This is precisely when you give over and let your insides go wild and just feel it. It will subside: Ganesh will remove the craziness and you’ll find the peace that you’ve been looking for.  So, when your significant other asks you to do something you don’t like and you feel anger or frustration, ask yourself why you’re feeling that way and watch the feelings going on inside your body and see what they tell you. You’ll get some answers that will make this problem, not so much a problem next time.

“The shortest distance between two points is a shift in perspective.”

-Donna Hummingbird

»As I’m facing a specific fear these days and I must shift my perspective from one of fear to one of trust. I have these moments of beautiful trust and then it feels like this fear gremlin takes over and I close even tighter.  It’s this strange dance between open and closed, fear and trust. This is what my acting coach called a ‘fusion’. A fusion is when you are shifting from one paradigm to another  in your internal approach to the world.  It’s a place of “either/ or “and also this strange place of limbo where anything can happen.  I’ve gone through several of these fusions over these last few years and what I’ve come to know is: 1. when I’m having one 2. that it’ll all even itself out in the end even if right now it’s taking a lot of energy to hold the space open for what I want to come to me. Breaking habits take work. But  this work brings satisfaction in the end.
